George Munnich Boat Launch

The George Munnich inaugural memorial boat launch will take place at 8am June 25 at Jones Beach West Bathouse. There will be a short ceremony with bagels, coffee etc..followed by the launch (anyone wishing to paddle out with the boat is encouraged).
Party: On June 26th at KJ Farrells in Bellmore from 7-9 will be a gathering to kick off the summer with a new surf boat!! All are welcome. This beautiful hand made custom boat would not be possible without the outpouring of support and generous donations from so many. A very heart felt thank you!!! ~Mark

Its with great sadness that I inform you all the passing of my father George Munnich, he was a legend in many arenas, he loved the beach and loved life! His arrangements are as follows:

Sunday Nov 22 Wake 2-4pm 7-930pm Bartholomew & Son, Bedford Ave., Bellmore 
Monday Nov 23 Funeral 10:30am Christ Lutheran Church, Island Rd., Wantagh

Inter-Beach Races are back!
Friday July 31st and August 1st at 7pm, West Bath House
Alumni and Lifeguard Union Party at the Central Mall (9PM) to follow the races on Saturday, August 1st, $10 food and drink.

JBLC Golf Tournament RM2 2:30pm $11. Thursday August 6th

JBLC Mets Game Tuesday August 11th 7:10pm game time, 5:30 parking lot BBQ Marina East Lot $20 a ticket
