McSorley's will be as usual from 3 PM on with the Cornachia & Hession crew hosting their annual Ale-Fest.
Last few years RP McMurphy's 1912 Wantagh Ave has hosted a Jones Beach East get together for those who didn't want to make the Trek into the city, and I hear that FG Quinns 3231 Sunrise Hwy in Wantagh will also have a crew of Jones Beach lifeguards showing up after work. With Mulcahey's and the Wantagh Inn there will be no shortage of places to get a beer or mingle with the JBLC!
With the Irish Oak festivities one could attempt the "Triple Crown" and make a stop at all three, late lunch at McSorley's, dinner at McMurphy's, and late night entertainment at the Irish Oak. Maybe a morning surf session at Lido to truly make it a lifeguard 'ironman' event!
