Sad news to relay to the Jones Beach lifeguard family;
Firefighter Sean McCarthy of Engine 280 passed away yesterday May 27th after a long battle with an aggressive for of melanoma. Sean's brothers Francis "Butch",James and Ray are long time Jones Beach lifeguards.
