Derek, Please withdraw my name from nomination for first vice president. Although I am interested in the union and feel I can be an important part because of my institutional knowledge I have no desire to take a position from such a worthy and hard-working person such as DJ. He will make an excellent member of the executive board as he has in the past. Because we had no knowledge of who was running there was no way to know who could be deprived of a position and it would never be my intention of doing anything to possibly deprive him of this opportunity.
