JB Alumni and good friend, Tom McLaughlin passed away in LA.
Tom was training to make a comeback and take the test next year. Tom was an artist at the Cartoon Network with a totally intense personality - 100% for everything he did.
I was with Tom last month at the Lifeguard Championships in Manhattan Beach. He drove 3 hours to meet with me, just the type of person he was.
Tom designed many of our union lifeguard T-shirts and was the videographer who shot part of my video from many years ago called "Fun in the Sun".
